4 Adults, 3 teens and a dog, had a fantastic week in a simply stunning house. Communication and instructions from Watermark were perfect, meaning accessing the lake and the property was faultless. The private mooring was so convenient for the paddleboards and kayak that we took with us and kept the teens entertained (and the adults 😊). The hot tub was also well used by everyone in our party, except for the dog who was more than happy being able to safely roam free on the large enclosed decked on the ground floor as well as the first floor.

 

The location of the property on the lake meant that the upstairs decked area got the best of the sun in the morning as well as the evening. Something that not many of the properties on the lake could boast. As the sun started going down the local wildlife came alive and the low sun lit up the lake beautifully as we sat on the terrace with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacle.As a family we try not to do the same holiday twice, but it will be difficult to not to overlook and check availability of 44 Summer Lake next time we’re looking for an escape.
